Wonderful view across the valley. There were lots of great spaces to relax and hang out. The cabins are beautifully done in a traditional style. The kitchen was fully kitted out with everything you need to grill, bbq, hotpot or whatever you like to cook. Yoshino was a great base to explore local shrines, hiking paths, sake breweries and villages. Our host was exceptional in proving recommendations about the local area and even helped us make a booking for Uda’s amazing soba restaurant. Thank you for helping us make the most of our stay!

Amazing place to stay in! Such a lot of stunning scenery. The accommodation was lovely and had a very authentic Japanese feel to it. The rooms were idyllic and we had the privilege of meeting the owner - she was very friendly and lovely. It was much bigger than expected and great value for money! The owner went above and beyond to accommodate for us and was always quick to respond to any questions and help us if we got stuck. If I ever get chance to return to Japan, I would definitely want to stay here again!

An exceptional apartment, fully equipped with everything from cleaning supplies to personal care items, and even a separate toilet. We loved the beautiful tea and meditation room overlooking the garden. The smart bath offered full of joy and bathroom along with every type of towel and toiletry you could need. There was even a bicycle available, though only one, so not very useful for two. The owner provided all the necessary information and entry codes in advance, making check-in smooth and stress-free.

Unbelievable little gem in a properly historic and preserved town. You have 400 years of history here, kaiseki restaurants and the house itself is impeccable with everything you can expect to find in a house vs hotel, i.e. laundry, fully equipped kitchen (for those who want to fry some wagyu yourselves), inner courtyard, etc. I stumbled upon it by random chance in between Koyasan and Osaka and im so glad I did - Gojo is amazing and this house is perfect to experience it.
