Moon Hakone was one of my favourite places on my travels throughout Japan. Just far enough out of the city to feel in utter bliss. The sauna and tub are a great way to start the day along with the camp fire on a still evening. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and the hosts are very communicative and helpful. This is the most comfortable homestay I have ever stayed in. I really like the layout and decoration of this house, every detail is well done. The room was quiet, too. My kids say living here feels like home. The location is also very good, very close to the bus stop.
