Very spacious and clean flat with original and beautiful decoration. Moreover it’s in the heart of Dogo Onsen so you can walk easily and quickly to the main attractions from there. The staff was more than helpful and accommodating with us and they went above and beyond with all our requests, I could not recommend enough Entei villa, it was the most luxurious stay of my one-month trip all around Japan.

House was in a good location close to restaurants and supermarkets. About a 7 minute walk to train station. Everything was lovely and clean and beds were comfortable. It was well equipped. Communication was very good with host and instructions for gaining key access were easy to follow.

I don’t know where to begin. When we first came, the host met us with a refreshment drink, which was delicious. We stayed alone in the whole ryokan, which was beautiful, everyting is put together, everything in its own place, everything where you need it to be, things in little boxes, baskets, decorative plates. It was beautiful. There was complementary bottled water, tea, coffee and japanese sweets as well as fruit, which were all very delicious. The location is also nice, a bit away from all the fuss of the city, but easy to reach. As we were about to leave, the host also made us a little present with a cute note on top, that was very nice of him. All things considered, it was worth the money, we had a very nice stay that not only met, but exceeded our expectations.

☺️The owner of the B&B was very considerate - we checked in when it was the coldest days in Japan. At first, we were worried that the quilts were not warm enough, so we contacted the owner to request more quilts. Without hesitation, the owner immediately sent four more quilts from home and said that he would buy new ones for us the next day. But later we found same as he said, the room would become warm if the heating was turned on for a while. So there was no need for extra quilts. I'm so sorry for bothering him! Thanks for his kind assistance! ☺️ In addition, every corner of the room exudes a sense of design and comfort. There is a large beam in the attic bedroom, proving that it was a warehouse built in the third year of the Taisho period! ☺️ The most memorable thing is, of course, its indoor hot spring. It feels like a thin layer of oil moisturizing your skin, which is very healing!

Mosquitoes were a little annoying even in the spring. But the owner did provide mosquito repellent... The lovely view and tranquility made up for it. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

Miyoshi was very welcoming and had excellent tips for the area on activities and also places to eat out. The accommodation was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable with great facilities.
