The house and it's location is beautiful. The area is so peaceful and the house has everything you need to relax with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. Elodie was lovely and communication was quick and easy. I had a fantastic stay at the accommodation and I would highly recommend.

The house is ca 2 km from the road, so it is absolutely quiet. You are surrended by meadows, cows, wild birds and other animals. So, if this is what you are looking for, you are on the right spot! The house must have been renowated lately and is very comfortable, will fit easily 8 to 10 people. Driving distance to Kilarney ca 30 minutes, perfect starting point for the Ring of Kery if you like your own privacy and do not like big hotels in Kilarney.

We stayed at this house near Sceine Bay for a family trip and absolutely loved it. The house really blew us away. If you love to cook, this place is a dream come true with all the kitchen gear you could ever need. We ended up making some great family meals right there, just enjoying the space and the amazing view. Another amazing thing about the house is all the books. No matter what you’re into, there’s something for everyone, from Joanne Harris and David Gemmell to Tolkien and more. The location is absolutely beautiful, tucked away in a really scenic part of the bay. We spent a lot of time just taking in the views or heading out to explore. There’s so much nearby to check out, like Helen’s Bar, Derreen Gardens, the town of Kenmare, and the Boathouse Restaurant. We never ran out of things to do or places to eat. Honestly, this house made our trip. It’s the perfect spot if you want to relax, cook great food, or just enjoy good books with family. We’re already talking about when we can go back here, we're regulars of Cork and Kerry. Highly recommend!

Everything! This is a beautiful and comfortable home away from home. Well equipped, spacious, warm, clean, with lots of attention to detail. David was extremely helpful and thoughtful, as well as interesting and charming, and very ready to act on any small problem, such as the coffee machine not working. This is a lovely cosy cottage in Kealkill kitted out with everything you would need for a family break. The host Noreen was wonderful in communicating with us and went the extra mile in stocking the kitchen with fresh milk and eggs etc. - so kind! The cottage was immaculate and an ideal base to visit relatives in the local area. My 70 year old mum and 1 year old toddler loved it too. Thank you for a lovely stay.
