BananaHouse is the perfect stay in Kefalonia for more than one reason. Firstly the owners, Liverous, Nikki, Kostas, Joana and Dafne are the nicest family and the most perfect host that you can meet. They have a vegetable farm with organic grown tomatos and veggies that taste like childhood. Secondly the location, settled just a few steps near Lourda beach in natural shadows all around the house, where you can find a few tropical trees beside the bananas, there is papaya tree, orange and olive tree and a lot more, a little pieace of heaven. Thirdly the beach - Lourda beach has light blue colour is big with clear water and you can find sun beds or place where you can stay beside them. If you dont like big beaches right behind the path of the beach, there is another one almost empty with few turtle eggs nest. Also is a good starting point to explore the island. The house has a parking and right next to it a supermarket, also good coffee shops in one minute walking, tavernas and one of the best beer bar in the island (Platanos). The internet was very fast and stable. Hot water all the time. BananaHouse is a small jewel on the island. Just perfect!!!

We stayed at Black Momentum Villas in Kefalonia as three families—each family in its own villa with a private pool—and the experience was absolutely perfect. From the very beginning, we received outstanding service: friendly, fast, and professional. Even when we had a brief power outage, the villa owner immediately sent a technician who resolved the issue quickly and efficiently. Every request we made was met with a positive response and handled within seconds, making us feel truly cared for. The villas themselves are stunning—fully equipped down to the smallest detail, impeccably clean, tastefully designed, and exuding a sense of luxury and comfort on a whole different level. We enjoyed every moment—whether it was the peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful views, or the private pools. We recommend it an unforgettable experience!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Kefalonia. Nestled in a peaceful and quiet area, the property offers the perfect combination of privacy and convenience. The house itself is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you might need for a relaxing holiday. One of the highlights is the stunning garden, filled with lush greenery, colorful flowers, and plenty of shaded corners where you can unwind with a book or enjoy a morning coffee. The location is ideal—just a short drive from some of the island’s most breathtaking beaches, close to charming Argostoli town, and near local markets where you can find fresh produce and essentials. The outdoor spaces are immaculately maintained, creating a little oasis that feels like a true escape from everyday life. We especially loved spending evenings in the garden, surrounded by the sounds of nature and the soft summer breeze. The hosts were absolutely delightful—always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed, making us feel truly welcome. Their hospitality added a warm and personal touch to our entire stay. We would wholeheartedly recommend this house to anyone looking for a serene and memorable holiday in Kefalonia.

Maria is a great host. Her welcome treats, as I see also from past reviews, have become norm and we appreciated them very much. We specifically chose this place to stay just outside Argostoli (which is a short drive away). The area is peaceful and totally quiet and safe. This particular location is perfect if you wish to explore the major/Eastern side of the island.

Superb villa with unimpeded views to Zakynthos and a wonderful pool that surpasses the pictures. Host was very responsive and met us at the service station to show us the way down the lane to the villa. Villa and pool is maintained during the stay, with pool cleaned every morning. Had a brilliant and relaxing time in this fantastic property, which has every luxury you might want. I think there are very few better than it on the island and would love to come back!
