Situated at the top of the hills overlooking the sea, Algar Seco Parque offers comfortable air-conditioned apartments with access to outdoor pools just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Carvoeiro, Algarve and its idyllic beach. Didn’t have breakfast. Location was excellent. It was nice and quiet.

Surrounded by lush gardens, Monte da Lagoa consists of 8 restored farm houses offering spacious studios and apartments. It is just 5 minutes from Altura’s beach.

Lagoa’s studios and apartments have a kitchen with a microwave and a separate dining area. The living area has a sofa and TV, while some also open out onto a patio. Rooms are decorated with bright colours and artwork. It was a very clean and nicely decorated studio. The towels were fluffy and nice. Above all, the owner was very sweet and attentive and extremely accommodating having received us so late in the evening.

About one km from Castelo and Evaristo Beach, Vila Joinal offers bright duplex villas surrounded by landscaped garden and lush palms. The villas feature patios opening onto the pool area.

A large living area with kitchen, and 2 spacious bedrooms sharing a full bathroom are featured in each villa. The outdoor dining area is equipped with a stone barbecue and loungers. Accomodation was very clean and well equiped. Beds were super comfortable. We loved chilling outside. There was grill. It was cleaned every day.

With its 2 outdoor swimming pools and large sun-bed terrace, the Giramar offers spacious apartments with a kitchen and 2 balconies each. Guests can benefit from free parking.

The light and modern Giramar apartments include a spacious living area with a DVD player and satellite TV. Most apartments enjoy views over the pool. The apartment is very nicely furnished, extremely clean, and the location is great. We felt like home!

Set in a stylish building just 1 km from Monte Gordo Beach, Quinta Rosa Linda offers neatly decorated rooms with balconies. It features a pool garden, 5 minutes’ drive from Santo António.

All rooms feature air conditioning and wall-mounted flat-screen TVs. The private bathroom offers a bathtub and a bidet. A little oasis of calm in quite a busy area. We had a room with a well equipped kitchen and terrace with hamac and seating area which led onto the swimming pool and terrace which were fantastic with lots of top quality furnishings. It was a great place to relax and we spent most of our week out there! There was something for everyone at breakfast and the staff were really accomodating and friendly. There are three local bars next to the hotel. Burger King and McDonalds are a 10 min walk away and there are three supermarkets and the train station within a 20 minute walk. Vila Real with a ferry across to Ayamonte in Spain is a 45 min walk along the main road or 6€ by taxi and a great day out. We will definitely be back.
