Couples particularly like this location. Great views, very nice dinner and breakfast. We arrived by bike and the owners were happy to store them in their locked garage. We also had a puncture to fix and the host was very helpful, even provided a track pump

Located in the historic town of Vila Vicosa and 300 metres from Paco Ducal, Hotel Solar Dos Mascarenhas includes a 16th-century building, stables and mature gardens. It offers free Wi-Fi and has an outdoor pool with a sun terrace. The hotel was in a great location. The front desk was great. If you need good internet this can be a problem. They gave me an extender which worked well. Highly recommend this property.

Featuring a private entrance, the bed and breakfast allows guests to maintain their privacy. A true gem. Quiet, comfortable and impeccably clean. Hosts were wonderful as was the delicious, bountiful breakfast. The lovely pool, with its spectacular views, was a real treat to swim in. Staying here was the highlight of our trip to Portugal.

Located in Vila Nova de Milfontes, Penthouse with rooftop pool - Duna Parque Resorts & Hotels features access to an outdoor swimming pool, indoor pool, spa and wellness centre and a paddle tennis court. The accommodation is 500 metres from the beach facing the Mira River. It was a lovely and roomy apartment. Only the bathrooms were a little cramped. But there were two of them! Lots of facilities to enjoy in the apartment and on the wider grounds. The view from the roof terrace was spectacular.

The property is set 1.1 km from Evora University, less than 1 km from Inquisition Palace and a 10-minute walk from Evora Museum. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Great location just outside the city walls. Our room was spacious, stylish, comfortable and clean, with a balcony. Very good breakfast! We took advantage of using the adjacent open/air swimming pool (a reasonable extra cost) as the weather was very hot during our stay. Helpful staff at the desk.

The rooms at the Sever Rio Hotel have views of either the Sever River or the mountains, and are all decorated with modern furnishings. Each has a flat-screen TV and an en suite with a spacious shower. Some come with a balcony. Good sized room, comfy beds, plenty of hot water. Our balcony overlooked the trees, river & castle beyond, & it was so pretty of an evening. The staff were friendly & extremely helpful. Excellent breakfast provided.

Situated in the historic centre of Mértola, Museu offers picturesque views of the Guadiana River and free WiFi. Next to the reception of the property is a museum showing archaeological excavation work. Super nice, clean, and modern, with archaeological, dig and artifacts in the center of the hotel. Staff very accommodating and walking distance to Castle and historical sites. Breakfast spread was very lovely!
