There are fire doors & safety equipment everywhere and I was happy to see all of their safety & security features. The entire staff could not have been more helpful & the personal service was lovely. A pod coffee machine, fridge & safe were very welcome. The room was much larger than I expected and very comfortable. The location was excellent and easy walking to most things.

Situated within the UNESCO World Heritage city of Georgetown, Coffee Atelier is a collection of 5 beautifully-restored shophouses dating back to 1927. Featuring spacious suites with free Wi-Fi, it an art gallery and its own coffee museum. The hotel is as advertised in booking. We stayed in the ground floor suites. Our room had a living area with wardrobe, table with drawer , bedroom with queen bed [i think] and a smart TV and courtyard with bathroom ,plants and toilet. The courtyard has mini fridge, dining table , kettle, coffee / tea mix. There are lot of antique items in room. The rooms were clean and was cleaned everyday. Our room has a foyer area which is shared with room on the upper floor. The foyer has a water dispenser and umbrellas. The place is also in good location - walkable to love lane, Armenian street [street art],khooo khonsi, Little India and the chew jetty. Grab delivers food and other items. The real highlight of the place is Ruby and her sister. They were real stars of the place and always there to help.Ruby even got my daughter a gift for her birthday.

The hotel’s location is excellent, close to many attractions, cafes, and shopping areas, making it really convenient to explore Penang. The breakfast had a great variety and everything tasted fresh. The overall vibe of the hotel is calm and well-maintained, and the facilities like the pool and gym were in great condition. Definitely one of the best value-for-money stays in Penang — would happily come back again!
