The property is non-smoking and is located 400 metres from Djemaa El Fna. We booked last minute as another riad cancelled on us and I am so glad - as this one was amazing!! The staff are so helpful and friendly - helping guide us from the taxi to the riad, washing our clothes, letting our kids run around and making a huge and very good breakfast - the courses just kept coming. The room was also perfect, very new and clean and with a modern bathroom / shower - also the perfect size for a family of 4 with separate sleeping room for kids and us - and with a share lounge / rooftop area we could sit out on in. And the location was perfect! Right next to the main square, so very convenient, while also being surprisingly quiet and not noisy at all at night.

The Riad is fresh and clean, the breakfast was delicious and different every day. I asked Samir how they make their traditional tea, because it was very good, and he was so kind to not only show me how it is done, but also gifted me a tea to take back home. We are really happy about our time in this Riad, highly recommend to everyone looking for a place to stay in Marrakech!

Located in Marrakech, 17 km from Bahia Palace, Dar HISANE provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Featuring a terrace, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. The room I had looked brand new, no traces of usage, it was nicely decorated, had everything I needed, including air conditioning, very well working WiFi and Internet-TV. The bathroom installations made a good and clean impression, among the equipment was also a hairdryer. As you cannot drink tap water in Morocco and the temperatures are high, I highly appreciated that they placed an 1.5 liter bottle of water in the room every day, included in the overall arrangement as a service, i.e. at no extra cost. One thing to mention was the food, especially the dinner. There was one menu per day, which was tasty and rich in variety. It both contained moroccan traditional food like tagine dishes, but also french inspired cuisine. According to my impression they prepared everything themselves from fresh vegetables to meat, sauces and dips. From past experiences in other hotels I can say I often preferred to go to nearby restaurants instead, but here the food was really good, and the prices were fair. I found the hospitality, presence and helpfulness of the french property owners was outstanding. They helped me planning my trips, gave many clues, organized a ticket for a place to visit, helped me to find a good repair shop for my broken cellphone, washed my clothes on request, handed me out one of their own pool towels because I forgot mine and so on. All in all I felt so welcome and appreciated as a guest, I started to miss the place, the owners and their cute dogs and cats once I left them. I would definitely come again.

All the individually decorated rooms at RIAD AWINATI Location Privatisée ,piscine chauffée , beau Rooftop offer Moroccan décor and air conditioning. They also include a tadelakt bathroom with a bath or shower. Staff were lovely and very helpful with trip and restaurant suggestions. Trip to Essaouira highly recommended. The Riad is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. No mosquitos which we were amazed at. The last part of the walk to the the big famous square passes through an unpleasant road stinking of urine so we only did it once. I recommend the taxis instead. Easy to get and very cheap. Property is near a fabulous hotel/restaurant called La Sultana so if you fancy a treat you should book for dinner. Beautiful views from rooftop at sunset. Another amazing restaurant was Dar Moha. Get a taxi! Also Les Terrasses des Arts. Property is also near a fixed price shop where I recommend shopping for souvenirs or at least checking prices before you try to negotiate in the souks/medina. We also took a taxi to Morocco Cuir a huge indoor fixed price place. The driver waited for us for about an hour and the total fare including wait was only 200DH. We bought a couple of lovely hand tufted woollen rugs which they packed and we managed to cram into suitcases although we had to buy an extra (leather) bag to get the rest of our things home! It was a lovely leather holdall at a great price.

The breakfast was very good. Nice variety and easily accessed. Good sized dining room. The doorman was welcoming and cheerful. I dined on the rooftop terrace and both the food and service provided were top class. The lady on reception went way over and beyond the call of duty to assist me in printing my boarding pass. I had technical issues with my phone and Ryanair website and the patience and reassurance she provided was invaluable. I appreciated her kindness so much and I just knew that she cared about getting it sorted for me.

I managed to discover all of the city by foot and its proximity to the train station, jardin majorelle, and gueliz makes it perfect to go to especially during the fall and early spring season. The room was also really relaxing with great space, comfortable beds and a very cozy decor. Finally the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming across all the departments and id recommend this place to anybody.

The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help out. The level of cleanliness totally exceeded my expectations, and the fact that the hotel is still new gave me that "first guest" feeling. The rooms were equipped with shiny new AC units, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet they were. Big shoutout to Mohamed, the manager, as well as the front desk and kitchen staff.
