It is completely non-smoking, and free private parking is available on site. Everything! The breakfast was pre-ordered and limited to 6 items per person (including infant). The atmosphere was really cosy and welcoming, it was great to have a common lounge to relax and 2 individual bathhouses for utilisation. There are some beverages and access to microwaves, oven, hot water flask in the lounge. Also, it is great that it had a small children section with suitable furniture. You can ask for the shuttle to a nearby restaurant but you will need to make your own way back. The bed and breakfast owner's family are staying in-house. So the owner is always readily available when called.

Nikko Station and Tobu-Nikko Station are within a 5-minute walk from the property. The gentleman managing this facility is truly the ideal host. He was extremely helpful from the very beginning, providing us with suggestions on what to do. He had ready-printed instructions for each activity, which were extremely handy. Complimentary coffee, tea, and bananas are offered every morning. He even bought us sweets! Lastly, he has a small professional studio, and if you are interested, he will take and print out a picture for you for free. The location is very close to Tobu Station, where the bus hub and many rental car agencies are present. We went by bus for hiking but chose to rent a car on a rainy day. I can't recommend this place enough. One of the best experiences in Japan.

The hotel has family rooms. Grate experience in Nikko if you are looking for a bit of a remote area. Beautiful and quiet environment. The Onsen in the hotel is amazing, especially the private one! The food was exceptional, such an experience really recommended to book the dinner plan. Very not touristic in the best way, hart to find in Japan.

The breakfast was good with a salad, toast, egg etc better than the average hotel breakfast. The bed was big and comfy, I would stay again if I ever go back to Nikko!
