The host is very kind. He collects you from Kawaguchiko Station and brings you to the hostel otherwise it is a 30min walk. Unfortunately we didn't get to see Mt Fuji when we were here but had a lovely stay. It is very peaceful here. The facilities are great. The host has a great attention to detail. The shared showers were lovely. We stayed on the traditional futons which was a great experience.

The rooms include air conditioning, and some units at the economy hotel have a balcony. Each room features an armchair with a footrest. Private bathrooms feature a hairdryer, toothbrushes and free toiletries. The hotel is close to the subway station (maybe around 3-5 minute walk), which is one station away from the Main Nagoya Station. Thus, very convenient to travellers, even with luggage. The hotel has a cafe and a library at the lobby. Guests are allowed to borrow two (2) books while staying at the hotel. Rooms, which is common (I think) in Japan, is kind of small. Maybe, if you’re a backpacker or with small luggage, two (2) people can stay in one room. But it would be more convenient for one person to stay in a room. Rooms are also clean, well lit, with an air purifier, and a couch area. bathrooms are equipped with toiletries, i.e., shampoo, conditioner, handsoap, body wash. Other toiletries like toothbrush, hairbrush, etc. Are at the ground flr elevator. The hotel has nearby restaurants, Donki, convenient stores.

Kaname Inn Tatemachi is set in Kanazawa, 800 metres from Kenrokuen Garden and 1.1 km from Kanazawa Castle. Omicho Market is 1.5 km away, while the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa is only 350 metres from the property. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Fuji is visible on sunny days from several rooms. A TV is provided in the Queen Room. Awesome style, I love it. Quiet and tidy. The restaurant is really good. I can recommend it

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. It features spacious hot spring baths with spectacular nature views, a video games corner and a souvenir shop. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas. The view of Mt. Fuji from our room was amazing. Would love to visit and stay here again.

Free WiFi available throughout the hotel and free on-site parking is available. Free pick-up service is available from Kawaguchiko Station upon request. The food was great, each meal was made up of various dishes, typically japanese. The view of the lake and mount fuji from the room and the public bath was breathtaking. The staff was very kind and helpful. They can pick you up from the station and drop you off too. The room was clean and quite large, more than enough for a couple.
