The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped with utensils for self catering. The laundry was a bonus not having to find a laundromat in town. The views of the lakes and mountains from across the road were stunning.

Each accommodation at the 3-star bed and breakfast has garden views, and guests can enjoy access to a garden and to a shared lounge. Each room is equipped with a patio. Charming B&B with helpful hosts and delicious breakfasts. 15 minute walk into Kenmare. The room was comfortable with thoughtful touches. The host suggested a number of sightseeing stops we hadn't known about on the Ring of Kerry.

When you arrive (yes, it is when and not if, because this is a must-stay), make sure to give a belly rub to Luis, the smaller dog. He is the real boss of the estate and after that belly rub, you will be in heaven for the whole stay. Jen and the other lovely ladies in the kitchen will serve you a delicious breakfast every morning (wide variety of choice - irish, vegetarian, continental, all with very quality ingredients). They will also make sure that the beds and the rooms are super comfy, soft and warm for your sleep. The room is so cozy after a day of adventures in Killarney and Kerry. And what a lovely morning view of the mountains and meadows! Luis will tell Bruno, the younger dog, that you are an approved guest. Bruno will then immediately proceed to politely ask if you maybe have a delicious snack at your hand. No? No problem. Just a small pet then to brighten up your day. Oh, and the doggos are so well trained they never enter your room, they just hang around with you outside! If you need anything, Luis and Jen will make sure that you feel like at home. There is a tea corner, a wonderful lobby to hang around and chat, an electrical car charger, and the room is equipped with a heater if you need a little extra heat. Don’t think twice and just book now, because this is a peak of Irish charm and hospitality. Great location, close to Killarney and a famous pub/restaurant Kate Kearney’s Cottage. Thanks for the lovely stay, I just wished we had some more days to spend here. Guess will have to come back. :)

Whenever got chance to visit Killarney will definitely stay here. Uncle Donal the owner of the property is very helpful and made our stay 5+ out of 5. Highly recommended

Overlooking Portmagee’s busy harbour, The Moorings Guesthouse is just a 30-second walk from the pier, offering elegant rooms with marble bathrooms. Some rooms feature luxurious hot tubs and king-size beds. We arrived a bit after checkout time (about 30 minutes to an hour). We had notified ahead of time, and they said that it would be fine. What we found when we arrived is that both reception and the person in charge of the kitchen were waiting for us past hours. Reception checked us in, while being super kind and understanding. We had arrived about 2 minutes after the kitchen was closed, but the person in charge of the kitchen allowed us to settle in a minute, and ushered us to the restaurant area and made sure we could still get food. Super kind and understanding from the people who are handling the day to day, and after a difficult drive, super appreciated.
