The entire facility is kept up very well and very clean. Antonia, who runs the front desk, check in, And basically an overall concierge is excellent at her job. She is very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and was very helpful and professional not only to me but other guests I saw her interacting with. She gives this hotel a very personable feeling. Breakfast was personal, not buffet style. Very tasty and freshly made and the place for breakfast, which was located in a shady garden, was remarkably pleasant. The room was large enough and stylishly rustic. What I especially liked was that there were no masses of tourists in this city. Now of course it's hypocritical to write that you should visit the Methoni... but I do it anyway... just don't tell everyone about this nice town. :-)
