Breakfast was delicious and offered something for every taste. Great coffee too! The room was soundproof — we briefly heard a baby crying in the hallway, but once the door was closed, total silence. I had schoolwork to do and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Plenty of hot water and a well-functioning AC. My favorite part was the massive patio. I’m probably coming back to Madrid, and I’ll definitely book here again!

Piramides Train and Metro Station are opposite the hotel, and you are within walking distance of Madrid’s main sights, including the Royal Palace. Nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Walkable distance to center and attractions (20 - 30 minutes). If you're not up for a walk, there's a metro and bus station right in front of the hotel. The breakfast is good and there is plenty to choose from. The rooms are clean and the cleaning ladies come daily to refresh the room and clean them.

Hostal Madrid is only 5 minutes walk from various top sights in the city – set between the famous Puerta del Sol and the Plaza Mayor. It is well-situated close to Madrid’s excellent museums and theatres, including Reina Sofia Art Centre and the Prado Museum. The guest house is also open 24 hours a day, so you can go out and explore the numerous bars and nightclubs that are open all nights of the week in the city centre. The location is superb! It’s right at the center of almost all the major tourist attractions in Madrid and all your travel essentials! The staff are friendly and welcoming. Would love to stay here again.
