We stayed here for three nights and then decided to extend our reservation for another day, but there was no availability, so we found a different, cheaper hotel. That's when I truly realized that the Sayyed Efendi Hotel is one of the finest hotels in Cairo. If you can find an available room, I'd say don't miss it. In Cairo, you'll likely be out exploring all day, and when you return to your room, it feels like a remedy to step into a space isolated from the city's chaos and noise. All the employees, especially those at the reception, were incredibly friendly, and chatting with them was a lot of fun. The beds and pillows we slept on were very comfortable. Absolutely no noise came into the room, which is a very important detail. And to get to the part that truly enchanted me: the bathrooms were wonderful. You can wash away the day's fatigue under a great shower. Frankly, I stayed at another hotel in Cairo, and it was nothing like this. Believe me, in a country like this, the comfort of the shower you take when you return to your room in the evening is very important. Your towels are changed daily, they provide high-quality shampoo and shower gel, and there's hot water available at all times. As for the breakfast, it's also one of the best you can find in Cairo. While there are local varieties, there are also flavors to suit everyone's palate, so don't worry, you won't go hungry (at worst, you can have cereal). There is a very nice rooftop terrace where breakfast is also served. It’s like a cafe, and it's a separate pleasure to come up in the evening and chat in the cool air. We arrived early, and they did everything they could to help us.
