Com. It is a 7 minute walk from the train station and very convenient for getting around the city. Staff were lovely and the place is very clean.

Alma Hotel enjoys a quiet location in a 19th-century building just 100 metres from Lake Zurich and near several tram and bus stops. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was spot on - clean, spacious and perfect for what we needed. We loved the location - close to the lake, the centre, the tramline, and with a couple of supermarkets close by. The roof terrace was a great bonus. Breakfasts were delicious and, particulary for the 2 of us who are vegan, offered plenty of choice. We also made use of the self catering facilities, which were great. We loved the extra touches too - free water and apples, welcome icecreams, and free coffee throughout the day. If we do come back to Zurich, without a doubt we will stay at Alma.

Perfectly situated, clean, quiet, comfortable beds with just the perfect pillow for me, I truly was positively surprised how nice it was! I even rather liked the extraordinary way the toilet/shower/sink -combination was designed. Nearby there were restaurants and cafes and Zürich was very easily reachable. Highly recommend this hotel😊

Next to train station, there a ramp to the street so you can drag your big luggage to the hotel. We came a bit late so we didn’t see any sign to the front door of the hotel (which was the way to lobby but had to pass someone’s garden) so we had to walk down the main street and came up from the parking. (If you came from train station you walk to Breitenstrasse and look for the hotel sign, pass some small garden you’ll be at the lobby door) Lift from garage is woking but you have to put the “down” button to go up to lobby (maybe some sign would help). Hotel Wartmann is located in the centre of Winterthur, 50 metres from the train station and a 2-minute walk from the Old Town. The hotel is conveniently located next to the main station. It is a short walking distance to the main centre with lots of restuarants. A wide variety for breakfast and very thing was fresh. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great wifi.
