The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. It also features a unique spa area in the goats' stable. The best hotel I ever had: the location, the balcony with a superb view, the spa, the breakfast. I would stay here forever

Offering stylishly furnished rooms with balconies and coffee machines and free Wi-Fi, the Testa Grigia hotel has been completely renovated in 2010. It is only a 5-minute walk from Zermatt Train Station and Sunnegga Express funicular.

Enjoying a quiet yet central location, the Hotel Garni Testa Grigia is surrounded by many shops, boutiques and restaurants. A pharmacy can be found in the hotel. One of the rooms we booked was beyond out expectations but the other was quite small and had a slanted ceiling and we kept hitting our heads..

Fantastic view from our room, sat down in the balcony to stare at Matterhorn for hours. Great spread of breakfast to start your day! If you are in Zermatt, this is the place you should stay!

The ARCA Solebad Wellness & Spa in Zermatt is located near the centre, the station, the Gornergrat train and the Sunnegga-Rothorn train and features up-to date wellness facilities including an indoor brine pool. The hotel was great , very traditional and comfortable décor . it was actually better than expected as the photos don't really do it justice , especially the pool etc . we had a great view of Zermatt from our 3rd floor balcony . breakfast was also great .

Hotel with a fantastic view in the middle of the world-famous Jungfrau Region

Hotel Jungfraublick is located slightly above the center of the car-free village of Wengen, at 1,300 meters above sea level. Situated in the heart of the Jungfrau Region, the hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Wengen train station and a 5-minute walk from the Männlichen cable car station. The facilities are great, comfortable beds, lovely breakfast, very friendly staff. We had a front facing room with a balcony for the first 3 days which was wonderful. We decided to stay an extra three nights and the reception staff managed to give us a side facing room which also had a balcony! We were thrilled....would definitely stay again. Would highly recommend it.

The Silberhorn Hotel in Lauterbrunnen is situated off the main street, only 150 metres from the train station, providing access to the skiing and hiking areas. Free parking and free Wi-Fi is available. The staff was friendly, we had easy check in. The room was amazing with a balcony which had spectacular views of the waterfall and the valley. We had dinner at their restaurant, it was lovely, the waitress was very helpful. The room was clean. We were sad to stay only one day, we will be back for a long stay in future!
