Wonderful and helpful staff, which was exceptionally friendly and professional, provided very helpful tips for stay/ area/ outings, with great communication. Learned, that the building has a lot of interesting history. Impeccably clean place. Spacious room and bathroom. Tasty, high quality and varied breakfast. Located in a (quiet, high quality) pedestrian zone, but accessible by car to drop off bags. Just a very short walk to the lakeside promenade, with lots of restaurants, and the boat landing. We had a great couple of days there and loved the area.

I was genuinely impressed by the quality of service at this hotel. Although it's rated as a 3-star, the warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere made it feel like so much more—it was truly one of the highlights of our trip through Italy and Switzerland. Some standout aspects of our stay included: A complimentary room upgrade upon arrival, offering a breathtaking view A thoughtful welcome with complimentary wine, apples, and snacks in the room Refreshments like tea, infused water, and light snacks always available in the lobby A beautiful garden with a fantastic swimming pool—perfect for unwinding Free public transport tickets provided for the duration of our stay The overall atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and ideal for relaxation. A perfect retreat to recharge!

A 7-minute walk from the shore of Lago Maggiore, Hotel Dei Fiori enjoys a central location in Ascona and offers you en-suite rooms with free WiFi, cable TV and a minibar. The hosts were so lovely and kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Our dog was also very welcome and the breakfast was high quality and lovely as well!

Located super close to Ascona's center, within walking distance. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, especially when we had additional requests. The self-service bar at night was a convenient and enjoyable feature.

Location was very central but on a quiet street. Beautiful terrace and well cared for plants, trees.

Piccolo Hotel enjoys a quiet location, an 8-minute walk from the Locarno Train Station and the centre of the city. This boutique hotel is ideally located in a quiet area of Locarno. The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of regional meats, eggs, fruits, and breads. It’s only a short walk to the train station. They also offered the Ticino Card, which made access to public transportation easy! The hotel is family run. Nikoli was very helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

The Hotel Al Fiume is located 4 km from Locarno and Ascona, the only hotel in the area away from the main roads and train tracks, located in a peaceful green garden with tropical plants, directly on... It’s an amazing family owned property, with a beautiful garden and very convenient location. The owners are wonderful kind people making sure that everything is all right for everyone.
