The 3-star superior Hotel Persal in Finkenberg in the Ziller Valley offers panoramic views of the Tyrolean Alps, a sauna and relaxation area, and a fitness room.

The Alpine-style rooms all feature a balcony, satellite TV, a seating area, and a bathroom. The cleanness of the room, quality of amaneties, food was great. Location was perfect. The ski bus station was literally in front of the hotel and the trip to the skilifts took only 2 minutes. View from the room was fantastic!

In summer and in winter, this centrally located but quiet hotel is an ideal starting point for all activities in Wildschönau. The hotel features a large sauna and relax area, as well as a heated outdoor pool (open in summer), both of which are free to use for hotel guests. It offers comfortable rooms with balcony, an excellent restaurant, an elevator and plenty of parking. Our room was lovely. We had a nice breakfast in the morning and I enjoyed meeting the owner in the morning and talking about skiing in New England in US in the 1960’s.

Awake each morning to stunning views of the mountains. There is furthermore an extensive garden and your children can be kept entertained at the play area. The place was very relaxing, very clean, staff was incredibly nice, food can be easily ordered from town and the breakfast is simple but definitely enough and so nicely set up (including some very very cute cups and plates)

The area is popular for skiing and cycling, and bike hire is available at this 3-star guest house. Hiking, walking tours and pub crawls are possible within the area, and the guest house offers ski storage space. Lovely room, lovely breakfast, stunning location and Christian the owner was brilliant. We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

Holzgau is a great place too skiing close by and bars and restaurants.

The rooms were so nice and quiet and comfortable with beautiful Mountain views. It is a working farm so there are horses and sheep and dogs; we loved it all. The breakfast was delicious- bacon, eggs, breads, fruit, cheese - all freshly sourced. We had desserts and cappuccino which were nicely presented and the warm chocolate cake was to die for . We hope to visit again and highly recommend to everyone
