Maria Rico Hotel is an excellent venue for a relaxed stay, close to where we were going (Universidad Panamericana Mixcoac), with easy access and incredible speed and agility for check-in and check-out. The hotel is simple but comfortable, clean and has everything you need. Highly recommended!!!

The location is great for walking to lots of things or catching rides, there were lots of cafes, shops, convenience stores, weekly markets near by. I love that they provide bottled 5 gal shared water on each floor's hallway.

The location was incredible. We stayed here for Dia de los Muertos and had a short walk to the festival, major plazas in Coyoacan, and Frida Kahlo's museum but were able to retreat to our quiet room at the end of the day. When I say short, I really mean short because my 10-year old didn't whine about the distance. The breakfast included fresh fruit, juice, and tortillas, and a choice between traditional hot breakfast dishes (the eggs with nopales were incredible). Staff was wonderful and happy to offer recommendations for the area. They arranged transport from the airport ahead of time and we arrived without a hitch. Our room was very comfortable, with new water bottles provided daily, and a gorgeous view of the courtyard.

This is a beautiful place, and the hosts make everybody feel at home. Great freshly-prepared hot breakfast, fruit and good coffee. Wonderful room with sunny terrace in a green patio, room design reminiscent of the Blue House. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful garden in the centre of the property with a little fountain. We watched the hummingbirds from the balcony outside. The staff were delightful and the breakfast was fantastic. We were given the names of places to eat nearby.

I really loved this hotel, and every aspect of my stay was perfect. It is ideal for mature adults looking for a quiet and friendly small hotel with amazing views and the best staff. After just 4 days, they felt like family. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and I have been travelling for almost 55 years!

This was a truly wonderful place to stay. It was literally 6-7 minutes walk to the main square and it was surrounded by a variety of cafes, restaurants and more. The room was spacious and the bathroom had everything needed. The hotel was clean and it was managed by very friendly staff. I want to thank the woman with the Hello Kitty glasses who helped me with a tech issue and let me borrow a laptop. I also want to thank the gentleman who stayed up into the early morning to let me in when my flight was debated several hours and I had to arrive much later than expected.
