Since the prices at other hotels in Fukuoka explode for Saturday we had to book this hotel in Kurume which fits with our travel plans, but it turned out to be a great choice! The hotel is located right in middle of 2 train stations (JR Kurume station and Nishitetsu-Kurume station - 1km from each). The first day when we came from Kumamoto, we stop at JR Kurume station and go to the hotel, then the next day, we go to Nishitetsu-Kurume station and take the Nishitetsu train to visit Dazaifu. The location of the hotel is perfect then for our travel plans, the surrounding areas is quiet but beautiful as well, in the middle of the city. Other than that, our room is quite spacious with comfy bedding, big flat screen TV and every amenities needed. The staff speaks English very well so no communication problem at all. A big bonus that I didn't know was that every guest has access to a public bathroom (natural thermal onsen) in the 2nd floor. They even provided yukata and slippers, towels for that. It's a shame that we didn't use this service since we were to shy. Overall a great experience !

Breakfast was nice, and the room was very comfortable. Parking lot was located behind the building in a public montly parking lot. The hotel has 15 dedicated space, and you will be informed when you check-in. It is just 1-2min on foot. To park your car, You need to drive into a narrow alley between hotel Kurume hills and New Plaza hotel. There you can find 15 spaces that is marked with Red Cones.

This a typical business hotel with a great value. The breakfast has a very low rate in booking reviews, but I found it good.

I liked the large room with sofa lounge and a TV offering movies (no Netflix). The room has its own drinking water, hot water dispenser and a fridge, which I filled with cold beers and food from Trial Supermarket nearby.

A great hotel with everything I needed. Small but nice bathroom where even I (183 cm/6 ft) could take a bath (though not whole body). Walking distance to the Kurume City Plaza, where we had a conference. In between we found a great sushi place too - Shigenaga Mutsumon. Also groceries were close by.
