Our stay at Il Barilotto was wonderful! The place is beautiful with stunning sea views and well cared for, but what truly makes it special is the people. Giovanni and his family made us feel completely at home — so warm and welcoming! The homemade breakfast was delicious, made with love and fresh ingredients. We were travelling along the coast by car and the staff assisted us locate the parking space within the restricted zone. It was a real bonus having parking at the hotel in the centre of Amalfi. We arrived early in the day and the staff very kindly accommodated our early arrival by allowing us to check-in early. We were also given a complimentary room upgrade which was an unexpected treat. Our room was quiet and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast was great!

The staff were exceptional, they were so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They carried our bags up the steps to the property and to our room and welcomed us with a drink. The hotel was very clean and spacious and very peaceful and quiet to sit out and have breakfast. This is a must visit hotel.

Hotel Gentile is in the main square of Agerola. if you are doing the Path of the Gods walk it starts outside the hotel so perfect location . has a good restaurant and Mario the owner is very friendly and helpful nice rooms , good breakfast and good price I will be back another time
