La Settima Luna was incredible. The hosts were welcoming and wonderful. The hotel is a little oasis on the island, and just relaxing on the roof terrace, in the naturally heated pool was blissful! Breakfast was great but what really made it special were the bedrooms. Large, spacious, gorgeous bathrooms. Very comfortable beds... La Settima Luna is open all year round, I would really love to come back and experience the island at a different time of year. I was able to work remotely for a day easily, the wifi was great. We rented a small car from Luigi at the harbour for the day. That got us to the hotel. We came to Lipari rather late in the season so a lot of the restaurants closed for the winter. So the car came in really handy to get to the places that were open which is close to the port. We would recommend Ristorante Il Corallo, the food and hosts were lovely.

Just 50 metres from Punta Barone beach, I Cinque Balconi is 200 metres from the port on the island of Salina. It features air-conditioned rooms and a large garden with lemon trees.

We adored our two-night stay at I Cinque Balconi. The welcome was warm and helpful. Reception is beautiful and sets the tone and ambiance of the experience. Our room was fabulous. It was the perfect balance of rustic, Aeolian charm and the modern. From the decor to the service to the food at the restaurant, there is such attention to detail. We loved the breakfast and how you can order what you want in advance so there is no waste and the offerings can be nice and fresh! The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and professional. We made use of the laundry service and were so happy with the results! Also, the garden is grand for enjoying breakfast or for sitting with an aperitif in the early evening. Finally, the location is outstanding. We couldn’t have been happier with I Cinque Balconi!

Very well placed around Piazza San Cristoforo, Canneto, 15 minutes ride from Lipari historical centre, this small boutique hotel it’s placed inside a beautiful typical aeolian house two steps from the beach. Everything it’s clean, quiet and comfortable. Francesca picked us up at the port and brought us to the hotel and back, service included in the rate. Breakfast is very good with an assortment of parties and salty things. The overall experience was super chill and welcoming. Super recommended.

Overlooking the sea, the family-run Amarea is set in the village of Canneto. Lipari Island's longest stretch of volcanic beach is 50 metres away.

We just spent a fantastic holiday in Canneto at hotel Odissea. La signora Gaia and the rest of staff were all very pleasant. Cleaning staff really chirpy and light hearted. La signora Gaia was very efficent and kind hearted to us Aswell as the kind staff. breakfast was lovely, rooms clean and location eccellent - bus outside hotel, and beautiful beach.
