The accommodation was in the perfect area to visit all the tourist attractions as well as the benefit of returning to your room for a quick relax. The room had a view of the duomo and the church bell that rang on the hour. The staff were very reliable and helpful and always welcoming whenever you approached them.

The location was perfect, an easy walk to all the important spots. But my favorite part of the stay was the excellent service from the staff. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. I needed ice for an injury and they found some immediately. I left very early in the morning, and even though there is a process to check out the night before and leave your key, the staff came in to turn on the elevator for me because it was difficult for me to walk down the stairs. There were kind and helpful.

The Picchio Hotel is set in a residential area and offers air-conditioned en suite rooms and free Wi-Fi. The ancient town of Orvieto is a 10-minute away by funicolar(until 8 pm) or by car.

We enjoyed the variety that was offered for breakfast. The location was fantastic as we could walk from the train station and it was close to the funicular which we used to get up to the old town. The room was lovely and had all we needed. The owners were very helpful.

Perfect location for stopover. Lovely restaurant. Room clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Yes, the train runs past, but really did not bother us. Super easy access from motorway. We will be back.

Very nice clean room, good breakfast, plenty of parking free space. The reception staff was very polite, the gentleman in the night shift also tried to find us a table in a near-by restaurant.
