It felt like an oasis of calm. We did receive an upgrade on our room which was an extra bonus. The whole experience was very positive and very relaxing. Beautiful gardens all around and everything had been renovated/built sympathetically. The staff were friendly and professional and the breakfast was great. There was an independent restaurant at the hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed the two evening meals we had there.

We had a lovely room with a balcony, a view of the garden and distant views of the sea. The hotel was very quiet and had a great plunge pool in which to cool off after a hot day's sightseeing. The sandy beach was only across a road at the end of the garden. Breakfast was a buffet of savoury and sweet items, including cereal, fruit, bread, cheese and ham. We went out for dinner to one of three nearby restaurants which were reasonably priced but there was an option to go into Noto on a shuttle bus.

Just 250 metres from the Mediterranean Sea in southern Sicily, the 3-star Hotel Don Giovanni is just 1.5 km from the centre of Avola. It features modern rooms, free Wi-Fi.

Super attentive staff, always there to help. Room was very clean and comfortable. Close to the hotel there is a decent beach where you can rent sunbeds through the reception.

Facing the beachfront, Hotel Noto Marina Vista Mare offers 3-star accommodation in Noto Marina and features a terrace, restaurant and bar.

We booked this hotel but we were sent to another one close to it Residence Hotel Noto) They told us that the other place is quieter and less people come there which was true. Sylvia took us there and she was even helpful with the luggages. We had a private parking which was a must. When we arrived at this property, it was a lido, full of people enjoying a day at the pool, cars parked in every corner there was. It was chaotic. It was good that we were given another quieter alternative.

Typical continental breakfast at a facility nearby. The food was fine and abundant in a covered outdoor area. Free parking was available on the street nearby, but I expect finding a spot in the peak season would be challenging.

Bulla Regia Hotel is 100 metres from white sandy beaches in lively Fontane Bianche. All rooms have air conditioning and satellite TV, with direct access to the first-floor terrace.
