Villa Rosa is ideally situated close to shops and the centre and 7 mins to the beach. It’s a lovely Mediterranean seaside themed decor very clean in pastel blues and white. Personal touches and seafarers antiquities in all the public spaces, the rooms follow this gentle theme. The staff are very welcoming and helpful with local places and car parking advise. The hotel in general and the rooms are absolutely spotless and the bathrooms very functional and clean. The beds are very comfortable with crisp elegant bed linens. A real treat to stay at this unique Boutique style residence. The breakfast is very relaxed and plentiful. I will stay again some day, the weather was a little inclement so will return. Regards from Alassio!

Excellent location, right on the modern promenade. We had a room overlooking the ocean which was close enough for us to be rocked to sleep in the evening by the sound of waves breaking on the shore. Add to this the fact that the hotel had a very popular restaurant and was located just a 10 minute stroll from the station in a neat little town and you would have to say there was lots to like about this place.

The location is great, with beautiful views over the Mediterranean sea. The pebble stone beach is 5 minutes walk away, the train station (to visit cinque de terre for instance) is also 5 minutes away and the city center can be reached in 15 minutes walk. We had the family apartment which is very spacious. The staff was friendly and worked very hard to compensate for the understaffing. Also it wasn’t busy when we stayed so we pretty much had the pool to ourselves.
