We stayed in a superior apartment with a kitchen. The apartment was located on the 2nd floor and had a large furnished balcony. It was very nice! We had breakfast for just 5 EUR per person, per day. Overall, the stay was decent value for money, for sure! Great location, it felt really secluded and "local", unlike the other part of the island that we visited too. The place around the hotel is very green, and it's not too far from the beach. I think it took us only about 20 min, which was always a nice walk. Keep in mind that the hotel is located on a hill, but it's not very steep. Also, the swimming pool was still working at the end of September, and the views on that level are superb!

Paradise can be as hard to define as it is to find. Yet La Gondola came as close as you can get to perfection. Stunning location where a kind of old school dreaminess exists. Devoid of flash and pretence, the hotel offers the traveller a charm and peace that belongs to an age not found in today's gaudy, noisy world. Indeed, a sign by the thermal heated pool reads "No shouting"! The staff were laid back but attentive, the food 9/10, cleanliness 10/10. Many guests (mostly Italian & German) were there as repeat visitors. Once you go there you will definitely want to return.

We absolutely loved our 5 day stay here! The staff were so friendly, breakfast was amazing, and the grounds are beautiful! The pools at the hotel are lovely to spend a morning/afternoon in. We also really liked the location (can walk to Poseidon spa and the beach and there are several restaurants nearby), and with the bus stop right outside it was so easy to get anywhere on the island. The staff also helped us arrange our taxi to the port on our last day and we really appreciated all their help throughout our stay!

We loved absolutely everything! The staff are incredible, they go over and above in their service and helpfulness. The free shuttle service was brilliant as I was with my mum (80) and she has walking difficulties. Breakfast choice was amazing, even for me being a vegan! Views are outstanding, food was gorgeous and very reasonably priced too (and the Aperol spritz , yummy) We ate a few times in the restaurant and it’s lovely they have their own gardens to grow their own vegetables. Love that. Already planning a return .

Great small hotel, ran by a very nice people. First moment we arrived and saw the view we were allready blown away. You can have some drinks at the terrace and look at the sunset,or if you prefer you can dip in the pool. Great breakfast with domestic products. All together we had great stay at the hotel as we did on the marvelous island of Ischia.
