A great place to wind down after walking the Camino. The room was cozy, neat and modern. The bed was very compfy. Bath big and new.

Great staff, helpful. Far from city centre but close to the beach. Also has option to go to the wellness and gym for 7,5€ and be there as long as you wish.

We stayed for one night but would have happily stayed much longer. Everything was perfect for us. The location is fabulous - a pleasant 15 mins walk to the glorious Carnota beach, and just 2 mins to the famous Carnota hórreo, the longest in Spain. The rooms were spotless, chic and very comfortable, with towels, toiletries and a lovely view to the sea in the distance. What makes O Prouso super special is Pedro, the owner, who looked after us wonderfully well. He knew what we wanted before we did! He reserved us a table in the bar, made us a delicious chicken and potato dish for dinner…all without us speaking a word of Spanish! Everyone at O Prouso obviously works very hard to make guests feel comfortable, welcomed and catered for and Pedro is the perfect host. The bar beneath the rooms was lively and popular with locals, a real slice of Galician life. Marvellous! Highly recommend. We’d love to come back.
