Words do not describe the beauty of this place. From the breathing views and picture perfect subset, this was truly a beautiful place to stay. The staff and service was 10/10! Everyone was so friendly and always made sure that i had everything i needed. It made us feel like we were right at home! We didn't want to leave, but will definitely be coming back again!

The hotel is genuinely one of the most beautiful hotels you can find in Cairo. Yes, you might find cheaper options, but believe me, the compromise on quality isn't worth it. We stayed here for three nights and then decided to extend our reservation for another day, but there was no availability, so we found a different, cheaper hotel. That's when I truly realized that the Sayyed Efendi Hotel is one of the finest hotels in Cairo. If you can find an available room, I'd say don't miss it. In Cairo, you'll likely be out exploring all day, and when you return to your room, it feels like a remedy to step into a space isolated from the city's chaos and noise. All the employees, especially those at the reception, were incredibly friendly, and chatting with them was a lot of fun. The beds and pillows we slept on were very comfortable. Absolutely no noise came into the room, which is a very important detail. And to get to the part that truly enchanted me: the bathrooms were wonderful. You can wash away the day's fatigue under a great shower. Frankly, I stayed at another hotel in Cairo, and it was nothing like this. Believe me, in a country like this, the comfort of the shower you take when you return to your room in the evening is very important. Your towels are changed daily, they provide high-quality shampoo and shower gel, and there's hot water available at all times. As for the breakfast, it's also one of the best you can find in Cairo. While there are local varieties, there are also flavors to suit everyone's palate, so don't worry, you won't go hungry (at worst, you can have cereal). There is a very nice rooftop terrace where breakfast is also served. It’s like a cafe, and it's a separate pleasure to come up in the evening and chat in the cool air. We arrived early, and they did everything they could to help us.

Location is good, staff was so so nice, they were always helpful and not only in the hotel, they were reachable anytime if we had a problem. Cairo is a chaotic city, so it’s really good to know people standing with you. The breakfast was amazing, we book tours through the hotel and it was a nice tour with a good driver, good car and an amazing guide. Also the elevator was dated 1874 so it was so authentic and nice to be inside. The rooms were renovated recently so everything was new. The noise is a problem in Cairo but the room we had doesn’t had that problem. I recommend the hotel

Great location in a busy pedestrian area full of shopping opportunities. Quiet , closed to National Museum. Super friendly staff and manager. Helpful on request and not pushing! We liked it very much. Budget hotel.
