The setting and staff were nice. The breakfast was good. The castle itself was beautiful and fascinating. The Italian restaurant downstairs was good. It is also a short and pleasant walk to the train or bus to Forchheim.

Hospitality, pleasantness, and professional service, awakening with the birdsong. Breakfast is very good. Guests should try organic strawberry jam. 😀 The facility is a rather nice rustical object, very clean, cosy and easily approached by car. The staff is fluent in English and very kind. The owner we spoke with is obviously the "old school" of catering. In my opinion, this hotel is for recommendation!

I really liked the prompt communication and the electrified locking system of all doors. Just don't forget the smartphone on the other side of the door 😀 The room was prety, nice and clean, bed was very comfortable, curtain could very well shield the light from street lamp just in the front of the room window. And the fridge was a big bonus.
