Everything was wonderful: the view from the window, breakfast, the food in the restaurant, the proximity to the river and the mountains. The bed was separated from the rest of the room and far from the bathroom, that is very nice. My husband had his birthday during the stay and the hotel congratulated him with a nice gift. Thank you for your hospitality!

There is so much that I might run out of space. The owner has an incredible eye for detail. Everything exudes harmony and is tailored to the guests needs. The food is amazing. We ate at the restaurant twice. Incredible! The rooms are decorated country style. Lot s of natural wood around. The bathroom is just the right size and well thought through. Complimentary water is served in as still, medium, or fully carbonated. I totally recommend this place. Owners and staff are very friendly. We’ll be back :)

The staff. Excellent, as always. This wasn't my first time at this hotel. Nor the last one. But the first time when I arrived during a huge thunderstorm without electricity etc. No problem for the people at the desk at all. Creative, fun way how to solve the problem. I loved the stay here again. And the superb breakfast, too, of course. Looking forward to stop there next time.

Perfect location to travel around Saxony, pefect view (the room was with a view to Elba river & mountains), excellent food (dinners were very delicious, special thanks to the Cook & kitchen Team!), amazing local wine & beer in the bar! Absolutely new / renovated & clean shower. All was perfect to stay for 4 nights and travel around. Stuff!!! the ladies were very kind & extremely helpful! Special thanks to the local government - for offering a Tourist ticket: once you check in in a hotel, you get a ticket wchich is valid for all types of local transport . And that was so helpful: ferries (boats on Elba) were fantastic, + travelling by amazing train (double-decker!) to Dresden was a super trip - pure enjoyment to see the views to the mountains and Elba. We will return here again for sure!
