Great hotel, stayed here for one night to recharge while traveling around with a rooftop tent. I read some negative reviews regarding the restaurant, but personally I can only compliment the food as well as all staff. The prices in the restaurant are below most of the restaurants in Costa Rica outside of hotels, which seems unusual. Kids loved the pool. We were happy to get a suite all the way in the back, which felt like being in the middle of the jungle.

The property was lovely, with a pretty, shady and cooling garden which also had a covered seating area. My room was a single storey with a double and single beds. The room and bathroom were spotless, even the covered verandah with a little patio table, 2 chairs and a hammock! The property is on the edge of the small laid-back coastal town, where the only sound you awoke to was the sound of bird calls.

We have had a perfect stay at Rio Lindo. The owne4 has newly renovated this amazing place with a tastefull style. The rooms are spacious, clean and pretty. The new beds were very comfortable and the airconditioning was a great asset. The hotel has a pool and a bar which is a perfect place to have a drink, talk to some locals or have food. We have spoken to so many people just having coffee at the poolbar. Rio lindo and Dominical has a very warm, cozy feeling. For food suggestions. If you like pizza, Rio Lindo has his own chef and brick oven to make pizza's (among other dishes) but this pizza was the best one I have had since visiting Italy. Across the street there is Mama Toucan, which has the most amazing organic foods. Lovely banana bread, quinoa salads, and foods to take home. Thanks Ian and family for having us.

Great location! There is a good bar/restaurant attached to the hotel. Very handy. The manager is very good. Sorry, cannot remember her name, but she is very efficient, helpfully, knowledgeable and full of good advice.

One of the attractions of Hotel Luckys is its on-site casino, plus it offers a hot tub. It also has free WiFi throughout and private parking on site.

It is a very basic hotel and rooms are functional but without much thought about interior design. OK if you need to break up your journey. Neighbourhood looks OK (no presence of the oldest profession around the casino).
