Hotel seems very new and the view is absolutely gorgeous!!! It’s located right next to a church and the church bells are actually very comforting to hear. Breakfast with the amazing views is great too!

Loved the check in (so did the kids) with a refreshing and welcoming drink of water for everyone. The room had a washer dryer which was a bonus for us. Breakfast was really yummy with lots of food options.

We had the lower appartment which was a beautiful place with a gorgeous view from the window with a small terrace to catch the spring sun. New modern bathroom, fully equipped kitchen. We also appreciated a washing machine and a dryer as we came for skiing. The slopes are really close. There was also a pingpong table in the basement which was a plus for the kids.

The friendly approach from the four female staff members I encountered: reception, restaurant, breakfast room and housekeeping. Fabulous, large, comfortable room, recently renovated, high ceilings with tall windows on two sides: one with stunning view of mountain which you could almost touch, and the other of a leafy park. There was also a small private balcony. Located right across the street from the railway station, so couldn't be more convenient, yet it was quiet. On this visit I received a welcome voucher for a beverage of choice from the restaurant and a free pass for travel within Glarnerland.The hotel's motto is roughly to make guests feel at home and I certainly felt comfortable at this hotel. The village of Elm, with an interesting story, is just a short bus ride from the hotel. There are other points of interest there too. Research it. Well worth a visit. Supermarkets and other shops are a short stroll from the hotel.

Nice place on the grand tour route, spa was amazing
