My wife and I stayed at Berghotel Hois in Heiligenblut before crossing Grossglockner on our way back to Norway. The hotel was absolute fabulous. The parking space was great, and we were met by friendly personal that spoke English. (My German is pretty bad.). Just a few meters to carry our luggage. A spacious living room with kitchen, separate toilet, separate bathroom and a separate bedroom. Fantastic beds and a fantastic breakfast with everything we wanted. There was a nice pizza restaurant nearby and we were looking up at Grossglockner while eating.

A stunning apartment, extremely well fitted out, spacious, comfortable and in a beautiful location. Welcoming staff and excellent communication. We made the mistake of only staying one night here and wished we had stayed for several. There was absolutely no noise from the restaurant downstairs even though it was quite busy. Perfect place to stay.

We booked this accommodation on the day of our arrival, as we had to cancel our planned camping trip last minute due to bad weather. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful surroundings and the excellent location. The rooms and common areas are modern and tastefully furnished. The garden, located at the edge of the forest, offers a peaceful seating area by a small lake, a large grill, and a playground for children – perfect for relaxing. The overall atmosphere is very friendly, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. We especially appreciated the rich breakfast buffet, which was constantly replenished. And if you’re lucky, you might even be treated to cheerful accordion tunes from the owner himself, making your morning even more delightful. We were extremely satisfied and would be happy to return in the future
