If you are looking for safari in the Cape Town area this was definitely worth the drive. We went to Aquila Game park the week after and Garden route game lodge was much nicer.

Nestled at the eastern head of Knysna, this luxurious, pet-friendly hotel boasts a championship golf course, a restaurant and a spa. Free WiFi is provided. This was the best hotel in our garden route tour. Every detail has been looked after. The room had an amazing view, a wooden fire hot tub, fireplace, comfy bed, the people were very attentive and the pool and sauna were a very big plus. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was wonderful. The staff are lovely. The owner is gracious, and the location is perfect.

Gondwana Game Reserve, where Big Five game roams free through the Cape fynbos, is located 25 km from Mosselbay. We stayed at Eco Camp, this means that you sleep inside a tent, comfortable but suitable to more warm temperature, than it was during our accommodation. It was cold for us but tolerable. The main attraction was daily driving with Qiu (hope that pronunciation is right) with an aim to find "any animal that moves". And we found almost all of them... And we eat three times a day (too much). The food was excellent, thanks to a chef. The atmosphere in the camp was very friendly, The fynbos is marvelous. marvelous. Very nice experience.

The property offers the option of dining (for a very reasonable 350 ZAR per guest). Great breakfast, included in the rate. Great location barely one kilometer from the Monkeyland and Birds of Eden parks.

Situated between the Outeniqua Mountains and the beaches of the Indian Ocean, in Mossel Bay, Botlierskop Private Game offers elegant accommodation. It was the perfect location for our Honeymoon.
