Situated within the malaria-free Shamwari Private Game Reserve, 9 km from Paterson, Shamwari Bayethe offers luxury tents with a private plunge pool. Home to the Big 5, the reserve features scenic views of the vast landscapes. The setting and the facilities were excellent. We used the Spa which perfectly complemented the Lodge. The rooms were spotlessly clean as were the rest of the facilities.

Kuzuko Lodge consist of 24 chalet of which 3 are fully wheelchair accessible. All facilities including the pool, spa, gym, conference room, restaurant, family lounge, curio shop and bar are accessible by wheelchair. Everything! Fantastic staff and food, great private reserve with really knowledgable guide, and very good conservation ideals.

Lalibela experience was something real and unique! It doesn’t matter how frequently you are traveling - you will be pleasantly surprised by sincere hospitality of the team (starting from the smooth and prompt booking process till the best service on the spot), deep and outstanding knowledge of the rangers (special thanks to Nikita and Ashley - your love to your work and nature helps me to believe in humanity) and, last but not least, the scale of the territory where you will find trilling encounter with wild, beautiful animals and with strong, breathtaking nature (we were happy to spend the days far away from noise, traffic, density of the city - full recharge). The Lounge itself (we booked “Kichaka”) is impressive, here you will find everything that is needed for comfortable stay (beautiful luxury design, super wide terrace, pool, private pool with water heating system, 2 real fireplaces that you can enjoy after an evening safari or when it rains, bar, beautiful local wine, wide menu for all courses of the meal etc.). All of this was already included in the price of booking. To leave this place was a real hart braking moment. Thank you!

Featuring mountain views, Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge in Addo features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge.

A continental breakfast is available at Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge. walk with the elephants and do the safari on their own terrain, it is nicer than the large Addo parc

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks are served at various indoor and outdoor dining areas. There is a fire pit where guests can enjoy a nightcap after dinner.

Guests may either book a Bed and Breakfast package or our Full Board Package which includes all meals and 1 outdoor activity per day (night stayed) on the reserve in an open game viewing vehicle, accompanied by a qualified game ranger. Outdoor activities include, game drives, giraffe walks, bush walks, bird watching and star gazing experiences. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day and sundowner drinks are offered at sunset. The hole experience was immense! The spa offers a variety of massages and beauty treatments. Other facilities at River Bend Lodge include a shared lounge, a library and an outdoor pool with sun loungers. River Bend Lodge is a truly special place. We were warmly welcomed by Chris (manager) and John (our ranger) and Rachel wo guided us around the property and to our suites. Throughout our stay we were genuinely pampered by an incredibly friendly, smiling team who made everything feel effortless and personal. Zuzu cooked with all her heart the dinner. Chris was discretely present and very alert of our well-being. The lodge is beautifully set in the bush, offering remarkable privacy, space, and tranquility. The suites are generously spaced, ensuring a deep sense of exclusivity and calm. We lived the outdoor shower! You really feel as if the bush belongs to you alone. The safaris are exceptionally interesting and engaging, made unforgettable by our private guide, John. Having him on five game drives was such a huge privilege. The bush is clearly his home. His knowledge is so vast, his storytelling captivating, and his passion infectious. Every drive felt personal, educational, and so entertaining, never rushed and never routine. Our expectation had by far been exceeded and we will keep memories for ever of these tours and wild animals, and of John. We highly recommend the River Bend Lodge to anyone seeking an intimate, high-quality safari experience with outstanding guiding and a true sense of place.

Breakfast and dinner can also be arranged in advance. Guests can relax by the swimming pool or in the garden. Free private parking is available on site. and free WiFi is available at the main dining area and at the pool. We had a wonderful stay, it's very picturesque and there is so much nature and wildlife. Heinrich was amazingly helpful and booked an amazing guided tour for us to the elephant national park and really went above and beyond to accommodate us. Would highly recommend 👌!

Rooms at the Zuurberg Mountain Village combine safari-style with classic décor, offering natural furnishings. All rooms include a private patio and a panoramic deck and some have a deluxe bathroom. Lovely surroundings friendly helpful staff. Felt at home. Food was fantastic. We had Sunday lunch and breakfast on Monday. Outstanding. Will definitely be back .
