My wife and I have stayed at this hotel many times before. Sofia the hotel manager, always tries to make our stay at the hotel is as good as it can possibly be. When Sofia finds out that we are coming she saves the biggest room with the best view for us. The breakfast is served in a first class restaurant (the best restaurant in Malmkoping). It is one of the best breakfasts we have had in Sweden. The hotel is located in a very quiet and secluded location which helps facilitate a good nights sleep. We will return again next year.

Set in a restored military hospital, this Malmköping hotel is 25 minutes’ drive from Eskilstuna. It offers free Wi-Fi, an elegant restaurant on site, along with free sauna access. I asked for vegan options for breakfast and they prepared many different options for me, which was very thoughtful and accommodating. Even though I am a grumpy morning person I did really enjoy my breakfast and Suzannes happy energy. I extended my stay and looking forward to returning maybe in the summer.

It was the perfect escape for our family, and our furry friend absolutely loved it too. The location is ideal - quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. We saw plenty of wildlife during our walks, which was a real treat for the kids. Checking in was a breeze, which was a huge plus after a long journey. The house itself is even more spacious than the pictures depict. There was ample room for everyone to relax and spread out, making it ideal for both families and groups. But the highlights don't stop there! Here are some additional things we loved: Cozy fireplace, Perfect for stargazing at night, Fully equipped kitchen The kids especially enjoyed playing in the big backyard, We had some memorable evenings relaxing on the garden deck Overall, Modernt & Rymligt Sommarhus exceeded our expectations. It's a fantastic rental for anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing retreat in nature. We would highly recommend it to families and pet owners alike!
