We didn't even switch on the tv while staying there for 3 days, we just stared at the waves... The room was spacious and super clean, nicely decorated. The food!!!!! We got halfboard option and it was the best decision. Both restaurants were amazing, the dinner for me was a day ending adventure of itself every day.

The Hotel Baía Azul offers a Spa with an indoor heated pool, a gym, a steam bath, a sauna a relaxation room and 2 massage rooms, where guests can unwind after an active day. Great hotel near the sea... it's very big with different things to do there .. it has a few restaurants, a great outdoor swimming pool, great views from the main restaurant where I had my breakfast.. you could see the sunrise and the sea.. it's really really nice. Rooms were big and clean , bathroom was great as well. Room service was top notch , each day there were leaving extra snacks/fruits in my room, they were very attentive, the hotel is a bit expensive but it's worth it, you can't go wrong with it.

A buffet breakfast is served each morning at the property. We had a lovely time - everyone was super nice, the side view to the ocean was gorgeous, and the food was good as well. The hotel is 15 min by Uber/Bolt from Funchal center, but there was also a free shuttle bus.

Les Suites at The Cliff Bay features a heated outdoor swimming pool and a garden in Funchal. Located in the Sao Martinho district, the property provides guests with access to a hot tub, a sauna and three restaurants. Everything was elegant and top quality, so much attention to detail that made our stay feel so luxurious. We had a suite with garden access, with a large veranda area. The whole suite was very spacious and very comfortable. Service and support was top notch! Breakfast views from the Avista restaurant are stunning. The food was excellent, and we would highly recommend having lunch and dinner there if time allows. We had access to the facilities of the Cliff Bay hotel next door, wish we had more time to make full use of everything on offer!

Incredible food - breakfast and dinner - a lot was homemade. They really take pride in their project here!

Great location, breakfast, staff, rooms… No complaints, thank you! Pool opening times could be longer to accommodate people returning from trips.
