Áurea Museum by Eurostars Hotel Company is a unique 5-star property situated on the banks of the Tagus River, in a historic building in Lisbon's iconic Alfama quarter. The hotel features a permanent archaeological exhibition, as well as modern facilities, like an indoor pool, restaurant, massage room and Turkish bath. We liked every minute of it. They did great surprise cake for my wife’s birthday. Unique touch and emotional intelligence from the staff. Great location and friendly staff. Breakfast was superb and highly recommended for more than 3 nights stay.

The accommodation has air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. In the range of rooms available, there are 3 exclusive royal suites and 2 superior suites with views over the Tagus River or over the old town. We were sad to have to leave! The property is amazing in every little detail. The decor, facilities, staff and food. The rooms and common areas are delightful, the breakfast area is beautifully set up with lovely food. A welcome drink is provided at 3pm in a wonderful area with individual bread and cheese platters and help-yourself wine from 3 barrels ( yes true!) And the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Shoutout to Ricardo who texted us the room was ready after a long exhausting journey, to Carla the singer/ breakfast hostess who was exquisite and helpful and to Joao the doorman who went out of his way to ask if we needed assistance when our taxi stood us up. Everything was great, highly recommend this one

At the gym guests have a full specialist support. The hotel features indoor and outdoor parking, with paid electrical vehicle charging stations. Breakfast was provided at a hotel across the way for those of us with very early flights, extremely appreciated. The room was very comfortable and when I had a problem with the electrical outlets not providing electricity, a technician was quickly sent to my room to fix the problem. The room was also spacious and had a coffee maker, electric kettle and fridge, all very useful to have. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for those flying out of the Lisbon airport. The hotel even provided a shuttle bus although the airport is a 5-minute walk.
