In a beautiful location, wonderful views down the valley, really peaceful. It is so nice being a small hotel with only 5 rooms. Exceptionally high standard of decor & cleanliness. Andre could not do enough to help us. Even prior to check-in his communication was excellent, upon arrival we had a little tour of the property and a taste of the port wine produced here. Both nights he made our dinner reservations for us and chose outstanding restaurants nearby. His local knowledge is excellent. We had a 1-1 wine tour/tasting at their vineyard which was fabulous and so special to get a look ‘behind the scenes’ at a small wine producer. The wine is delicious. Breakfasts were very fresh and good quality. Access to water, tea, coffee and pastel de natas every day too! Would absolutely stay here again!
