Ollantaytambo
Set in Ollantaytambo, 21 km from Bus Station, Las Qolqas EcoResort Ollantaytambo offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as a sauna. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. The photos and descriptions don’t do this place justice. Located in a quiet valley half an hour’s walk (or a short drive) from Ollantaytambo the Las Qolqas Eco Resort by far exceeded our expectations. The friendly and helpful staff helped us with all our questions and requests, alongside the manager and the owner of the hotel. They also recommended a Machu Picchu guide for us (Porfirio - charming and very knowledgeable) and helped us with transportation to and from the train station to get to Machu Picchu (included in our room rate). The food on site is excellent, as are the drinks. There are fireplaces in each cabin which they’ll light for you at your request. You can admire hummingbirds from the comfy chairs on your veranda while you can hear the birds chirp and the sounds of the nearby river. We also did a lovely 2hr hike (each way) on an Inka Trail to the nearby Pumamarca Ruins which was amazing and we didn’t see any other tourists the whole way - a great way you get away from the masses. Las Qolqas was easily our favourite place we stayed at in Peru.

The location is superb. Right on the main square close to a ton of great cafes, restaurants and shops. The rooms are small but super cute and beautifully decorated. The staff are lovely and very helpful. I was only planning to stay a couple of nights but I extended because I liked Pisac and the Pisac Inn so much.
Urubamba
Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. The property has a swimming pool and spa. This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.

Huayoccare
A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Huayoccare, Casa Jazmín Hospedaje Familiar Eco Amigable - Huayoccari, Sacred Valley is a homestay surrounded by views of the inner courtyard. The property features a garden, bar and private parking among other facilities. The homestay provides a spa experience, with its hot tub, spa facilities and wellness packages. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the children's playground, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. I loved the view of the mountains, the environment was amazing, and the owners are an amazing family that makes us feel soo incredibly comfortable like they were there for us all the time and that was so nice. The tree house is really good and have some pillows and games. Also the place has two hammocks, which I consider was the best place to relax and the jacuzzi is incredibly amazing, if you do it at night you have the chance to see the stars and it's simply the best. For sure, the best place to stay and you will have the best memories. The breakfast was sooo tasty!
Urubamba
Located in Urubamba, 7.2 km from Bus Station, La Rosa Wellness Lodge provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property is set 7.7 km from Main Square, 7.8 km from Sir Torrechayoc Church and 7.8 km from Saint Peter Church. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, room service and organising tours for guests. This lodge is a peaceful and beautiful nature retreat nestled between Urubamba and Ollantaytambo. The owner is incredibly kind and thoughtful, with a deep background in conservation and healing work. She is truly genuine in her efforts to give back, working closely with knowledge keepers, weavers, and conservation initiatives to create regenerative experiences for travelers. The lodge has a strong spiritual and relational focus, making it a space that supports meaningful connections. In a competitive hotel market often driven by extractive tourism, this authenticity is invaluable. It was important to us to know that we were investing in a place that is deeply conscious of its impact on both people and the land. Accommodation: The lodge is fairly new, with minimalist yet comfortable rooms that have a quaint charm. The beds are very cozy, and the service was attentive, accommodating, and genuinely helpful. During our stay, we had the opportunity to experience a sound healing and kundalini activation, which was amazing. We also visited a hummingbird sanctuary and went on a beautiful hidden hike for 40 soles (covering the split taxi fare and sanctuary entrance fee). Location: The lodge sits near the river, surrounded by lush greenery, wildflowers, and hidden spots to explore along the riverbanks and train tracks. A small creek runs nearby too. We specifically wanted to be outside the more touristy and gentrified areas of Pisac and Ollantaytambo while still having easy access to both for day trips. Urubamba offers a more local vibe but still has great restaurants, a market, and cute cafés. It also has some lesser-known ruins and hiking trails. Collectivos to Urubamba or Ollantaytambo cost just 1.50 soles, and a ride to Pisac is 5 soles. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in nature with easy access to the Sacred Valley and good value for money, this lodge is a perfect choice. Its emphasis on spirituality, healing, and cultural connection was really special.

The outside space is quiet and a good spot to chill. Games around the bar (pool, table football) nice for a change. We stayed twice, our room on the second stay was very comfortable. Good showers. Breakfast was standard fare, served fresh.
Great roof top space and views. Has an elevator.
The hosts are lovely. The view from the rooms is stunning. Breakfast (included) and dinner (whoever orders) are excellent. There is a hot tub in the evening where you can relax after a day of sightseeing. The hosts do everything to make the guests happy. One trip to Pisac is included in the price. Returning by taxi towards the evening costs 20-25 Sol.
We really liked the garden. There is a gasebo where you relax in full bloom. The room was spacious, clean. The fruits for breakfast were delicious, the eggs with ham too. The location is not far from the main street but it is in an unpaved dirt road, not very inviting. Always better to take a mototaxi.
This is a little paradise!! We used this hotel to get used to the altitude after arriving in Cusco. It is a family run hotel with beautifull vieuws. It is best to stay at the hotel as there is not much to do in the area but enough at the property itself. We had breakfast at the balcony and in the garden, took a massage, used the jacuzzi at sunset and had a romantic dinner. Relaxed in the hammock. The food is good and the people are friendly. The bed slept great and the bathtub in the room was a bonus!
Classy hotel with helpful staff. Nice options for relaxation. Nice spa, particularly the steambath. The hotel's restaurant has a range of dishes at reasonable prices. We were given a breakfast box on the day we left early for a trek.
What a gem! Nice family, nice rooms, nice views, nice breakfast... My husband was late for breakfast, they saved a portion for him anyways. I had just finished a five day trek and was looking for a massage, they told me where to go to find one at Peruvian cost vs. the spa. We wanted to take a collectivo to Maras, the staff not only wrote out the instructions in Spanish for us, she walked us personally to the station so we wouldn't get lost.
