I felt as if we were staying in a hidden garden. The location on the main square was perfect. Every person was so helpful. The food was great. The shower was strong and hot. They provided good restaurants recommendation and help carrying luggages from train station to hotel and vice versa. For example, when we asked help in luggage, Alcides, hotel manager, promptly provided support. He and his staff help to carry 5 bags to train station and reach the last meter that he can help. We really enjoyed the stay in hotel and services. Its a good pick given hotel cleanliness, hotel staff services and locations.

Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. The property has a swimming pool and spa. Food is absolutely delicious, with great selections. Spa was oasis of comfort The concierge was extremely helpful and patient, helped me to book train tickets and local transport. Their resturant opens 5:30am so we could take a bit or grab some take-away before we boarded the train for Machu Pichhu, which itself was a great comfort. Staff is genuinely warm and welcoming!
