Accacia bay is located 6min drive from Taupo center, it is very quiet and relaxing spot. We had a room with a view on the lake and we could use jacuzzi provided by the host which was great. Room is big , bed very comfortable, big size kitchen and small bathroom however host offered bigger one - for us it was more than enough. Host - Don is very friednly and supportive. If I could I would stay longer.

So if you are looking for a very relaxing retreat, to unwind and soak up the views, and are happy to cook for yourself a bit (double halogen hob, microwave, full size fridge freezer) with friendly hosts then I can warmly recommend this lovely place. If you want shopping and restaurants on your doorstep, or are phobic of birds, then this wouldn't be the place for you. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention the hot tub! And the amazing expanse of the stars at night! I loved it!
