It was a beautiful old fish man’s cabin in a great location. Was comfortable and the house was modern and furnished in a lovely fashion.

The in-house Lorchstua Restaurant serves à la carte dishes during summer with a main focus on fish and local ingredients. Barbecue facilities are also provided on site. The property also features a sauna. It is a beautiful place to stay. You can tell they put a lot of love into the apartments. We stayed in an apartment in the second row. While you don't get the amazing lake view from your window, its only a few steps out of the door to look out from the dock. It was very warm and comfortable inside the cabins, it had everything we needed and it was very clean. The breakfast was delicious, though there was a smaller spread on our second day because of the low number of guests. Next to the reception there are 2 chargers for electric vehicles, more then enough in the winter but spots are limited if all cabins are full in the summer. Overall its an amazing place to spend your time, the staff is very accommodating and having northern lights both nights we stayed here made everything even more perfect.

Skårungen is a haven and a slice of paradise in this world. The atmosphere here is incredibly peaceful and serene. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to escape from a busy life and you love to busk in nature. The staff are worldly and experienced and are happy to give plenty of great recommendations for the local area. I will definitely visit again!
