Boasting a private beach and a large infinity pool, The Danna Langkawi - A Member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World features colonial architecture and elegantly designed units in the west coast of... Everything, from the luxurious and warm welcome to the very last bits of details, Danna did a great job. Special mention for Amirul, the lovely staff who works at the restaurant. He went above and beyond to make our daughter a nice bowl of chicken soup noodle when he realised that her bowl of tom yum soup noodle was perhaps too spicy for a 6-year-old’s liking. We enjoyed the large pool, gym and the kids play area!

I recently stayed at a private villa in Langkawi, and it was the best hotel experience of my life. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming was wonderful and personalized just for me. The customer service was exceptionally great—if I ordered a towel from room service, it would be delivered in less than a minute, as if I were the only guest they were serving and caring for. The villa was impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. I had no issues parking the bike I rented in their parking space. When I needed a bag weight measurement scale, it arrived within seconds after I requested it. The level of service was astounding: a perfect 10/10. The villa itself was also a 10/10. It had a smart TV with Wi-Fi, allowing me to connect to YouTube. The rooms were equipped with both an AC unit and a fan, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, there was a large fridge and a cozy coffee corner. Staying here has truly elevated my expectations and standards for future accommodations. This was, without a doubt, the best place I have ever stayed in my entire life.

We arrived quite late, long after the kitchen had closed, but the staff still went out of their way to provide us with food. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us after a long journey. The personal touches throughout our stay made it unforgettable. Every member of the staff was so kind and attentive—it felt like they genuinely cared about making our experience special. One of our favorite features was the direct access to the pool from our room. Waking up and stepping straight into the pool was such a treat and added so much to the overall experience. La Villa Langkawi truly offers a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and heartwarming service. We left feeling completely pampered and can’t wait to come back again. Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amidst tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases. The room, location and service was great! Amazing vegan restaurant (also for non-vegn people) and the stuff is so kind and helpfull!
