I recently stayed at a private villa in Langkawi, and it was the best hotel experience of my life. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming was wonderful and personalized just for me. The customer service was exceptionally great—if I ordered a towel from room service, it would be delivered in less than a minute, as if I were the only guest they were serving and caring for. The villa was impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. I had no issues parking the bike I rented in their parking space. When I needed a bag weight measurement scale, it arrived within seconds after I requested it. The level of service was astounding: a perfect 10/10. The villa itself was also a 10/10. It had a smart TV with Wi-Fi, allowing me to connect to YouTube. The rooms were equipped with both an AC unit and a fan, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, there was a large fridge and a cozy coffee corner. Staying here has truly elevated my expectations and standards for future accommodations. This was, without a doubt, the best place I have ever stayed in my entire life.

The staff, the food, the amenities, the beach access, the rooms. Everything was lovely. We loved spending time by the pool with a complimentary jug of ice water. It was my first time staying at Ritz Carlton property. And I must say it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we step there till the very last second we had a wonderful time. Every staffs we encounter were very professional and on top of their game. Services were splendid. Food was perfection, every meal we had was exceptional. Buggy service was very quick too, not once had to wait more than couple of minutes. The ambience was gorgeous. Room service was another amazing experience, coming back to our room and seeing all the little details that our housekeeping team had done to make our stay comfortable was such a special experience. Leaving a hotel was a bitter sweet feeling since we had such memorable stay.

Room service forgot to clean the room in the morning and when we came back to the villa at night after informing the front desk the cleaners came within 15 mins at 10 pm. Extremely good service. Would definitely visit again!

Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amidst tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases. Unique experience to sleep in middle of the forest with wildlife (e.g. monkeys) around you all the time. Not a big hotel chain but small scale apartments at walking distance from the beach
