The Riad is located in a quiet area and you can really relax there, yet you only need 20 min by car to Essaouira if you want to grab some food or to Sidi Kaouki if you want to go surfing. The rooms and the house in general are big, bright and beautiful. It's really special because it doesn't feel like a hotel but more like a home. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. We definitely will come back again!

Riad Zawia is located on the beachfront in Essaouira, 100 metres from Othello Garden and 3 km from Essaouira Assawak Assalam. Location. Host Hamid was wonderful and have great recommendations for restaurants and experiences

It’s a wonderful calming place , accessible via car and well situated. I have been traveling to essaouira many times , and Riad salmiya has exceed my expectation ; will for sure stay again in it. As it is only 20 min walking from medina and far from the crowded streets and alleys of medina also from main roads. Best place , best staff . The owner was there as well to welcome us , and we can all of the things we would need from her.

In fact, there are two terraces, one above the other. You get three floors and a rooftop terrace all to yourself. Each floor has a room, and there’s a kitchen on the second floor. We didn’t expect such luxury! The place is full of charming little details and creative touches. It has absolutely everything you might need for a comfortable stay, even tea, water, coffee, fruits, olives, and cookies waiting for you on arrival. Keep in mind there are quite a few stairs to climb, but we didn’t mind as it’s great exercise! :) Communication with the host was excellent.
