The tour guide for the safari was organized by my host and was one of the very experienced drivers. I also got recommendations for dinner, was taken for bird watching, was driven to the bus station and all the time my host made sure that I felt comfortable and everything worked out. Wild Coast Tented Lodge - Relais and Chateaux - All Inclusive is adjacent to the famous Yala National Park, renowned for its dense leopard population. This luxury tented camp is situated where the jungle meets a pristine beach, overlooking the blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Everything! Wild Coast Tented Lodge is truly magnificent!!! We were happy that the architecture was specifically designed to have minimal impact on the environment, whilst still offering ultimate luxury and comfort. Our accommodation was outstanding, every aspect and requirement has been considered and the interior design was so impressive! Every single staff member is beyond courteous and helpful!! Our safari was unforgettable! A special thank you to our driver, Suranga and ranger, Kasun who provided 40 minutes of exclusive viewing of a gorgeous female leopard!!! The restaurant experience is superb, the local chef has the most amazing skills! Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented! Our waitress, Viraji was delightful and our spa treatments were fabulous!! Our host, Sashika was so helpful and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed to maximise our experience! Our expectations have been well exceeded and we cannot wait to return to this magical place! Thank you ❤️

Offering a restaurant and free bikes, MOON LIGHT Guest House is located just 1.1 km from the Tissamaharama Bus Station and 3.2 km from the beautiful Tissa Lake. Free WiFi access is available in this self-catering accommodation. Great base for visiting Yala. Owner was extremely helpful and made our stay more pleasurable because of his helpfulness and kindness. Breakfast provided was excellent. Plenty of food. Rooms were really well thought out and extremely comfy. Made for a very relaxing stay. Owner organised a very reasonable taxi for our onward journey to Ella.

I recently stayed at Kingfisher Beach Resort, and it was an incredible experience! The resort is amazing, with clean and spotless rooms that are spacious and comfortable – plenty of room to relax. One of the highlights of our trip was a lovely beach BBQ that was very special to us. It created such a warm and unforgettable memory.A special mention to Shehan, who truly made our stay memorable. He’s a fantastic chef, skilled therapist, and an excellent guide. Located in the deep south of Sri Lanka, Chena Huts is just 5-minute away from Yala National Park. It is designed to echo the local architecture harmonizing with the jungle environment. Everything was outstanding - the service, the accommodation, the food and the people! Big thanks to Yassi, our ranger, who was very knowledgable and made our game drives really enjoyable. Also our waiter Nuwan was amazing and knew our preferences by day 2.

Had safari booked with the hotel, the owner was a good guide and the breakfast after safari had many options and was yummy. Recommend!!
