Tiron and his family were very welcoming and hospitable towards us. We arrived earlier than the check in time but they were very happy to prepare our room earlier. The room was very clean, bathroom was gorgeous with an outdoor shower and the air-con was great! A must do is the safari that Tiron and his cousin provide, it was an amazing experience and my partner and I had the 6 seater jeep to ourselves! Tiron’s cousin: Sheran, is very knowledgeable about the animals and the park and will answer all your questions. The dinner was a delicious, all the guests staying at this hotel had dinner - it’s a must do. The hotel was so peaceful and felt at home here. Really lovely setting - don’t have a bad thing to say about our stay here. Would definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at Green Paradise Cottage hotel in Udawalawe for a safari trip, and I must say, the experience was magical. The ambience truly made me feel like part of a family, enhancing my overall stay. I highly recommend their dinner, as the host prepared the most delicious food I’ve ever had in Sri Lanka. Everything was impeccably clean, which added to my comfort. Additionally, the host was incredibly helpful, assisting me from A to Z in planning the safari. The pricing for the safari was very convenient compared to other options. Overall, this hotel offered a memorable experience that I highly recommend!

Thank you to Aijith and Pamoda, who were so welcoming for our stay, and really looked after my brother and I. The accommodation is indeed in the jungle and could see monkeys and wild life. We had delicious welcome lemonade and cake and the breakfast is huge!! Aijith and Pamoda organise a morning safari which was wonderful, we saw so many elephants. And they packed us a breakfast. The accommodation is exceptional value for money, comfortable bed, new AC, hot water, fridge, kettle and even a hairdryer! I really like the aesthetic of the bedrooms too. And a lovely little porch to sit and relax. Its nears some resturants too and short walk to udawalawe junction. Thanks again! I would highly recommend.

The garden view room was absolutely gorgeous and so clean you could eat off the floor. Comfortable big beds you want to snuggle into, coffee making facilities right in your room (Kettle, cups, sugar), and truly the highlight of it all, an outdoor bathroom! I was very reluctant to leave after my stay here, I really felt like my emotional wellbeing has been fully restored after a few bad hotel experiences prior. For this price, you absolutely cannot beat it. The food was lovely and the host very kind and accommodating. So if you‘re planning to stay in Udawalawe, this is the place!

The owners are super friendly. My room was large with a good bed and good AC. The restaurant out by the street looks unassuming, but DO eat there...these guys cook beautifully. I had a rice/curry lunch that was just lovely.
