A great place to stay with a wonderful host - Dasun organised for us to get around and provided options for a safari which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had the opportunity to met Dasun's family and his mum cooked our evening meals which were absolutely delicious. Sitting relaxing outside our unit we were entertained by a monitor lizard and family of mongooses passing my - magic.

Amazing river front nature location near Udawalawe national park. Fantastic unique eco accommodation and repurposed materials, love the sowing machines, when you visit you'll get it. Staff were amazing and a huge thanks to Dinuka, his communication was exceptional when we had difficulty getting from Kandy. Organised a late check in, helped our driver to book his accommodation locally too. Next best part Dinuka is a very informative and passionate guide doing the morning Safari. Himself and his driver were a well oiled machine. Don't try and save money without a guide, book Dinuka and his driver well worth it. The breakfast was great and even organised complimentary snacks before our drive further south.

Wow… we loved the stay in city elephant family resort. We stayed one night with our 2 kids and we felt like we spent the night in our own house. The breakfast was delicious. The room was very spacious, clean, cosy and Beautifully arranged for us to have a good night sleep. Highly recommend this beautiful family resort to others who would like to spend nights during your holidays with your family. The staff was really friendly and treated us so well. We will definitely be back next year for our next holiday in Sri Lanka.

We had a fantastic stay at Chill House Safari Resort. The room was spacious, beautiful and had everything we needed. A/C and Wifi worked really well. The best part about our stay was Hashan and his family, they are so lovely and did everything to make us feel comfortable. They also cooked dinner for us which was very delicious. We did the Safari with Hashan as well and it was the best experience. He is the best guide. He gave us lots of information about the animals and the park during the Safari. He has been a guide for a lot of time now and you can truly notice. He knows many good spots in the park so we were alone for almost the whole Safari and he is able to spot literally every animal, no matter how small. We saw so many different animals! He also organised for us to have breakfast in a small hut in the park which was so cool. So if you want to stay at Udawalawe and do a Safari, we can not reccomend this place enough!
